Agree with the fact that it hurts my eyes. I actually had some eye strain (which I've never had playing this game) after just 2 games. I had to move my monitor to see everything because it was all off to the side, and at max size some of the text and information is still too small (because it is shoved into a corner).

Regardless of your rank(grats on being so good), I've played this game for almost 4 years and running as a mostly casual player who just enjoys the game, and I must say, as a mid laner and support, it is extremely difficult to keep up with the opponent's CC, especially slows(since now, the highest slow effect sticks, not stacks), hence spell chain timings are harder, and it is, frankly, ugly.

I know I know, 11 year old Riot fanboys and fangirls are gonna flame me for that, but I honestly feel it's like a crap ripoff of Diablo III's UI, without the HP and mana cauldrons. I hate how the important information, after so many years of players adapting their memories to look at at crucial times, is now all over the place. CS and KDA above the map, allies' frames above that, it's just a squished and clustered mess. And why do I have to constantly see what my CDR and tenacity is? That's not information I'd have to see every 1~2 mins, and it makes the HUD look like a squished fruit salad.

After so many years, there have been some changes I've been discontent with ( R.I.P. Leviathan, Philosopher's Stone, Heart of Gold, Deathfire Grasp, LeBlanc's silence mechanic ), but I didn't mind because there have been other changes that have been positive (the Honor system) so I feel Riot's been doing their part. Everyone messes up, it's normal.

This isn't a mess up. This is a catastrophic error that Riot should, AT THE VERY LEAST, give players the option to revert their UI back to the old one as they please, JUST LIKE THE THEME MUSIC.

Can you elaborate on this? I haven't been playing for the longest time, but what about it bothers you? I prefer the more tight design of this one. I feel it helps me focus on the game more, and the stuff is near your map, which shouldnt you be looking at anyways?

you dont wana pay total attention to you map but you do want to eye it and watch it every now again for ganks if you have wards placed out witch putting the numbers and shit down there is jut fine in my opinion because thats were your going to look any way but again people want to pay less attention to the game at hand and more to the shit on there huds

Exactly my thought as well. I'm D5 as well and my guess as to why anyone likes the new HUD is they never really had any map awareness or teammate/game awareness in the first place. People who don't keep track of ally HP bars and just walk in 1v5 or even look at the map more than once a minute.

My dad once said something along the lines of this, "You can't be stupid in this day and age". I'm pretty sure Riot is the pinnacle of stupid. "Nobody wanted this HUD?". "We're going to add it anyway".

I hate every thing about the new HUD, the sounds are annoying the placement is annoying please change it back before I have to find a way to go into the solution files and change it myself.

I feel like it FEELS like the vital information has been moved out of your peripheral view, but it hasn't actually. You eyeball muscle memory just isn't used to it.

If they DO give you the option to use the old one, they better add CDR and Range to it. I'm not sure why those aren't shown. Only thing in the game you can't find on Summoner's Rift, except stats per level.

You could argue this for AD, AP, MS, and basically everything.

You can also get 10% from masteries, and up to 40% from runes if you do all CDR. No one would, but you can and you never know if they do.

Interface is terrible. Too much - hard to read- info in one place. Do not fix what is not broken.

Let me use the old one.

I'm not playing another match until I can use the old one, or move things to exactly where the old one was. There was just no reason to change this.

P.S. the announcer is terrible . Bring back the women. This all makes Lol Look like it is copying DoTa2.

I'm probably not going to play league until they either A) Allow us to move stuff around the hud (because then I could basically recreate what the old hud was) B) Give us the choice between the old hud and the new one C) Delete the new hud and just give us the old hud back and go back to the drawing board.

Riot REALLY needs to stop trying to fix shit that isn't broken. If it wasn't broken in the first plays, don't try to fix it or you will just end up breaking the damn thing.

I pretty much agree with this, The cd on ally ults is a great addition but I have to spend like 1.5 sec sorting out who is and has what because of the tiny scrunched portrait (with all the new splash art that doesn't look anything like the champs they are portraying...) I like the additional information on my portrait, but I hate that I cant just toggle the extra information to keep it out permanently, also, pretty boneheaded decision to make the extra info go up instead of say.... left into all the open unused space where the portrait USED to be. when a skill comes off cool down it is the SAME COLOR AS THE OUT OF MANA SKILL COLOR, WTFBBQ!?!?!? And for some reasonw hen I level up and I have level 5 skills, they also get a skill point icon... even though they are maxed,,, why?

They should move back in the old HUD. A lot of people will stick to it while I just adapt to the new HUD which gives a lot more information and more centralized giving me an advantage over the others. Please Rito

The new hud has information placed in such a way that you can't just glance at it to know what's going on. you're actually going to be hurting yourself by using the new hud if they keep it around. Additionally the new hud has just stupidly ornate animations that are distractions.

The new HUD is awesome and as someone has already said, your eyeballs are not used to this, sit tight and watch the wingers disappear as the weeks go on when they finally start to like it.

I logged in to flame in the boards, but I see the party started way before me. I'm glad. People will stop playing thus not purchasing merch. That's the only way to get something fixed fast, punch em in the wallet. Whomever pushed this change through ESPECIALLY without the ability to change to the old hud (or for God's sake be able to move and scale some shit on this HUD to our liking) should probably lose some credibility in decision making for this debacle. item 3070
