Let Ezreal's Q deal magic damage if the damage from the AP ratio is higher than the AD one

Please.

He'll still have terrible wave-clear and huge mana costs, on top of lots of other weaknesses.

The only thing I'm asking is for him to synergize with MRPen a little bit better.

Remember when Lich Bane used to have a 75% AP ratio?

At that time, Ezreal's Q only had a 20% AP ratio, so he had a lot more magic damage before than he does now. Since the Lich Bane nerf, Riot has given him a 20% AP compensation on his Q in order to not destroy AP Ezreal, as well as many other champs (Twisted Fate, Diana, Fizz)

However, here's a little hick in this: Mystic Shot deals physical damage

Yes. Ezreal lost a good 25% AP magic damage for a compensation of 20% AP physical damage. Some of you might say "yeah, but dude, ezreal is an adc, not a mage"

Wrong.

Ezreal is both a Marksman AND a Mage. There are many ways to bakance AP Ezreal without even remotely touching AD Ezreal. For example, the change mentioned above. Since AD Ezreal mostly builds AD (duh), his Q won't even benefit from the change since you need to build purely tons of AP in order to surpass the AD damage from his Q (ok maybe not tons of AP, but you get the point). Here's another ADC who can play the role of a mid laner: Kog'Maw. Both of playstyles are very different, yet they are the very same champion. One is purely a Marksman and the other a Mage. You can balance AP Kog without buffing/nerfing AD Kog.

So, can we please just give AP Ezreal this good change that will make him very haply without breaking him? His Q is supposed to be his main spell as a champion and yet, people are more focused on his W and R since your Q is basically useless against your laner as his armor grows with levels unlike his MR (implying you are against another ranged mage) so they feel the need to max it last.

Thoughts guys?

I'd be fine with this if he got a compensation nerf to his AP ratios on his other skills. And an aestethical feedback to help distinguish a physical dmg Q from a magic one.

"Wow he built ap items I wonder if it will do magic damage!"
