Were Warding Totems Removed?

Dear League Of Legends players,

Can you please start warding item 3340 , LIKE SERIOUSLY

I've recently noticed that I always have at least 1 teammate that drops less than 10 wards in certain games that last longer than 40 minutes...... EVERYONE ( no matter what role) should be dropping wards AS SOON as they're available, I understand CS'ing is important but vision is ALSO important.

Here are few examples from some of my latest games; Udyr went 0/10/1 and dropped a total of ONE yes ONLY 1 ward in a 37:04 minute game. The next game my Mid laner Xerath dropped 4 wards in a 37:55 minutes, after that game I was playing Jungle and managed to drop 43 wards without trackers knife being available anymore yet my ADC Jinx and my Mid laner Katarina dropped only 10 wards in a 45:05 minute game. I could honestly go all day but riot needs to do something about this.

I don't understand WHY or HOW players who are actively warding are placed in the same elo as someone whom can't even take the time to place 1 ward every couple of minutes.

KDA's, DMG per minute, Assists, Kills, Kill Participation, CS per minute etc; all factor your position in the rank ladder, and help boost your MMR, well what about warding???

I feel like warding is one of the simplest yet most important things to do during the game? Why aren't people doing it?!?!?!!??!

Because players make mistakes. But they don't make the same mistakes. A player may know not to make the mistakes he does not make so he can see other players make them, but those players make different mistakes and he cannot see his mistakes while those players may be able to. In the end, they all make mistakes that add together to a similar weight that holds them down to that level.

"but riot needs to do something about this" No, they don't. In fact, they should try not to. Trying to change a game so that players do not feel the consequences of bad decisions means making it so decisions do not have consequence. And that makes a game that feels terrible to play. A large reason why League of Legends feels so bad to play for so many people is because of Riot listening to players and trying to do that.
