There are missions currently.... if you own Kayn.

really I'd rather some custom crafted missions rather than the pile we had with that yasuo/riven update.

missions are clearly only being implemented as an event feature as of now guys which is fine but the real problem is i have nothing to spend my IP on

I wouldn't say that. They tested out plenty of them that weren't Event related before the Event went into testing and live... so I'm thinking they will eventually have some others added that aren't Event related. Like the fact that Kayn has some right now, I wouldn't call that an Event.

the release of a champion i think is considered an event, what else could you call how they are using missions because they arent turned on all the time

eh, but theirs no in-game story page like there was during .Vs, so it's really not an Event. Maybe a Mini Event if anything. However, I'm pretty sure there will be other things related to each champion, or anything champion added in the future. They never have everything up and running when they first introduce new features as this takes some time to write out each part.
