Does anyone else want to cry when they think about the old Nidalee? I'm a terrible player, by my own admission, but I could go 22-3 with Nidalee. I just can not get a hold of her new mechanics, and her javelin was added to obscurity as just another kit item. I miss my NIdalee, the original and the best.

Meowmix861 votesI miss spear-a-nid too... She's pretty fun now, but definitely not as good as she used to be. Remember how she could turn around team fights back in the day? Now she just kinda disappears late game. She would be so much better if she didn't have to proc her hunt mode to pounce! Cut down the pounce range just a tad and remove the need to proc the hunters mark= Super fun nid. Alternative would be to buff her stats a little so she's somewhat scary later on. Right now she's just tends to turn into a split pusher.
Amanthrapa1 votesI think the new Nidalee falls short as a better champion. All she got in reality was some shred when she hits a spear, she can pounce further on certain targets and she was disarmed from her spear. Her spear does significantly less damage, has less range and its harder to hit, and you cant make a play unless you hit that spear. With old Nidalee people were afraid of getting hit by her spear now they almost don't care unless she has enough room to chase without her having to go under turret even then shes not hard to turn on and kill. Her old spear would kill in 3 good shots, now it could take like 8 hits(which is hard being as it has less range and its thinner. In the old days people complained about her spear because they were either to lazy to dodge and get chunked, or Nidalee was the persons main champ so they were really good at hitting the spears. People that main other champs can get a lot of kills also, but for some reason they picked on Nidalee. Now if I don't build her tanky and AD she is just the (oh free kill!) on the battlefield, much like finding the support out roaming. She has to main her cougar form now to do any damage at all and melee champs laugh when she gets into the attack range, unless they are already half health (from some other champs doing). As a Nidalee main is say R.I.P Nidalee.
