Ok, so I get into D4 with a decent MMR. I lose my first 3 games then i win 2 lose 1 then win 5. Im gaining 12lp a win and losing 25 per loss. It's really annoying and I don't understand it because i know my MMR isnt that bad

Right now in silver 5 I'm getting 15-21 points per win, but 25-30 points per loss (which happens frequenly due to scripters and toxic people as of late, another issue riot isn't doing anything about) and I'm only 17 losses behind my win rating. I mean, it's completely frustrating and makes the game unfun because even tho I clawed my way out of bronze, I'm still not gaining more than I lose.

Clamping is OP.

I will explain. When you win a game you will get 2 lp, but if you lose you lose 600000 lp for one game. If you get a huge winning streak you have to do a thing called promotions which makes you win 2 games to rank up to the next division, only downside is that people can look at your account and they have the option to troll you and make you lose the game.

The thing I don't understand is your supposed to lose or gain more based on your MMR, but it isn't consistent like at all. For example, recently I'll gain about 20 LP per win, then lose about 20 on losses. Or it'll be 16 per win and 16 per loss. It's usually the same number, but the number changes all the time.

ETA: I have ~50% win rate, and don't really have huge win or loss streaks (until promos of course LOL), so I don't get why it's so temperamental
