Why won't I decay?

I'm plat 5 14 lp and I don't deserve to be plat anymore that's why I decided to not play ranked for awhile and decay myself. Plus I'm going on a trip next month and I'll decay anyway.

Anyways, it gave me a notification "you are imminently becoming inactive in ranked please play a game to avoid decay" for 2 days. Now I logged on and the message isn't there anymore and I haven't decayed?

rito I just wanna be gold. It's been longer then 28 days. (btw idk where to post this sorry)

it doesn't decay immediately once that timer runs out, but a week after.
