Constant lag spiking, is my headset to blame?

I don't know why I'm having these constant lag spikes in my games. I start off with 30ms every time, and throughout the game every 30seconds - 1minute I will get these lag spikes that shoot up to 120-300ms and then go back down to 30ms, causing me to teleport or freeze for up to about 3 seconds. I know for a fact that it's NOT my wifi, so please don't bring that up, as my brother plays on the same wifi on his macbook and he is perfectly fine. However, I use my Astros A50 Wireless headset while my brother uses a wired headset; I heard wireless headsets may interfere with your connection, is this true? Or what is causing this lag spike deal? I think it's my headset but I want to make sure before I go out and buy a new one. I've noticed that when on YouTube, the video quality is trash 340p and loading it takes forever when I have my headset plugged in, but when I unplug the headset USB the video loads up right away with 1080p I have restarted my computer several, several times... I really think it's my headset, someone please clarify.

(every once in a while my computer will be perfectly fine without lag issues, so I have no idea what the problem is really...) [sg-ahri-1]

My specs: 24GB ram AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.5GHz Radeon RX 560 Series graphics card

There's an easy way to eliminate the headset as a possibility. Unplug the headset.

Just because your brother has a stable Wifi connection, does not mean YOU have a stable connection. I mean, what kind of logic is that?

Kinda late to post this but I also use Astro A50's and I'm having similar issues.
