ADD: Tactical Banning in Worlds...

So been watching a bunch of games from the worlds and have really been hoping to see someone NOT ban GP. ya its not going to happen, seen 1 game where Mord was let out of the box and he crushed - back you go Mord. So that got me thinking..

Why not remove champions from the pool are have a ban rate above 80-90% at the end of each stage of the Worlds?

Ex: at the end of the Prelims, GP and Mord are gone, that's 2 bans freed up for other champs for the Quarter Finals... At the end of the Quarter Final stage if anyone else has been consistently banned out, they are additionally removed from the Semi-finals. Same goes on to the finals.

I know teams all have their play styles, their focus, and favorite champs and combos, would be nice to seem more than the 4 top picks for each position in rotation every game, but maybe that's just me..

I have a better idea every world Game, is all random champ selection hey if your good enough to be pro you can use anyone

I would rather see GP and Morde get banned every game then see some cool picks get target banned away from people

thats the thing though, to get 90% ban rate in the prelims or really any round, its gotta be multiple teams banning the same champ to get the % up to 80-90%... so target banning over the entire World Series is HIGHLY unlikely.

the only reason we are seeing GP and Mord banned right now is due to their INSANE game swing potential (OP). it is likely we will never see them played as worlds go on, so why even pretend playing them is an option?

Its likely just me, but the:

-Kalista, Jinx, Trist, and now Kennen (that was a cool pick) and Caitlen are IT for ADC's so far this worlds.. that's not a pool, that's a foot bath when you consider what else is available.

everything else is in the 70's (Rek'sai and Kalista) or lower.

so if your criteria is:

1: The character needs to appear in the pick/ban of 1/3 of the games played at the end of the current tier. 2: The Character must have a Banned vs Total Games Played of 80%+ to be eliminated from the champion pool.

then you are only getting rid of essentially perma-banned champs that are only there to waste bans as EVERYONE apparently agrees they create knife-edge games that are simply won/lost early/easily at this level of play.
