Full guide to winning in lol(and more), reading it is sure to help and may have new philosophy!
To win, you get turrets not kills. In depth overview of lane and build info. This is exactly what you pay for in coaching, easy information but this time its free. Bookmark this page, if you're ever tilted then come here and read it to untilt! You are unstoppable remember that. TIP: i recommend a text to speech tool to hear the guide easily. Hi, welcome to the guide! Enjoy. Disclaimer: If you follow the guide correctly then you really cannot lose in iron/bronze/silver/gold! This is hopefully to help some people who are trying to improve or want to put an ego aside a bit and learn about the game top to bottom again.
You can't tell me this is NOT how you win right? <3 Kills don't mean anything unless they actually do and you get objectives.
In League of Legends there are 4 roles,
Top Mid Jg Bot
Top: People in this role usually have high defense and good damage at once or some opt for damage focused builds or kiting.
Mid: People in this lane are mainly AD/AP casters who are damage focused with somewhat low defence. They seek to be a roaming helper in the early game, possibly a cc/5v5 threat in the mid game, and a burst threat in the late game. Most of them require hitting a key cc ability to keep a target still though qss counters that. Keywords: mage, ad caster, cc ability, burst scaling, mid game threat, abilites.
Jg: People in this role either go for a damage focused carry, ganking oriented support jungler, or a tanky teamfight initiator. They level a little bit faster than an adc does right now and have some really good control over the jungle objectives such as dragon, baron, herald, and red/blue.
Damage focused junglers focus on farming as they have bad ganking potential but if they must they will gank an over extended target and or tower dive if needed.
Gank focused junglers can't really scale well so they focus on ganking certain targets over and over to get carried by their team but wards counter them.
Tanky initiators will gank using explosive cc and disruptive abilities which they hope you wont escape from. In addition to warding you might want to keep an extra distance back and most of them have excellent lockdown potential.
Adc: People in this role are usually ranged damage focused auto attackers with little defence or the more rare mages who rely on burst to win the early/mid game. Some deal dps through auto attacks and some with ability burst but some deal both.(lucian).
Tip:Some adcs are stronger than others depending on the support so if that must happen then they can opt to safely farm under turret until the jg sees an easy kill.
Support: The people in this role focus on either protecting the adc from damage, damage focus with intent on high burst damage, or cc spamming on the enemy adc. The supports that protect and deal more damage tend to have less defence but the cc kinds can be very defensive even but sometimes with unbalanced cc/damage trade off.(Pyke)
Now the way to winning games: 3 turrets mid are protecting each lane but only 2 are protecting the nexus, you must destroy them. Taking the inhibitors helps take down the last 2 turrets. Some objectives aid in winning the game if you use them properly: Dragon, herald, baron, blue buff.
Mountain: more damage to turrets Ocean: healthier pushing Cloud: get to turrets faster Infernal: increase your ad/ap and that means also against turrets. Herald: Helps to take turrets in a lane very fast, can be deadly if timed right. Baron: enhanced minions are very good at helping take turrets down, if paired with herald then winning is very likely. Also gives ad/ap to deal more damage to turrets and nexus.
Keywords: support, peel, cc, damage, burst.
Items/runes can be gotten best from op.lol or lolalytics.com (they scan every ranked game and have built order of items)
My favorite thing about op.lol and lolalytics.com is that they provide full builds with winrates that you can view and they have matchup builds too! They also provide sample size on everything including runes.
Tip: Don't just go ludens first item every game because zhonyas is a very powerful anti assassin tool and you can save yourself against them many times. Same goes for qss for adc's.
Any more questions? Go to the "championname" mains reddit place and ask them for help or tips on that champ. I am a yi and jax main myself so if you want to ask something about them go on!
If you follow the guide correctly then you cannot lose in unranked/iron/bronze/silver/gold! You have maybe a 1% chance to lose if you listen to all the advice and game knowledge.
Note: you may have noticed that the game is not all about kills, you are right! You just try to get a kill to open up objectives, turrets, baron and more but not actually going for it. If fighting away one person mid would open up the taking of 2 turrets then go for it! Tip:ganking without any reason but kills is no way to win. Unless the kill/enemy who ran away helped to open up an objective. If they recall or run away then thats 30-50 seconds that you have to push turrets! Kills come with turrets remember this! <3
