There should be a Wards Placed stat in game and out of game,

I think this would be a good addition, and provide alot of good information for newer people. It could be above the minimap or in where the other stats are in the hud update. I especially feel like I need to ward more, and a number of wards I have placed would be very beneficial in that. You coud even put vision wards and normal wards as different stats. Maybe not in game but after the game. This should help show the importance of vision wards in game victories!

Actually, you can check the number of wards placed by each teammate. It also tracks the number of wards destroyed, stealth wards purchased and vision wards purchased.

I saw one game where the opposing Sona placed 36 wards.

I don't know if this stat is available during game, but you can check it in your match history in statistics from the website.

In your Summoner's Rift Victory with Jinx ADC and Morganna Supp...

Gnar placed 11 wards, Kat placed 7, Xin placed 6 and destroyed 2, Morganna placed 25, bought 1 vision, destroyed 4 and your Jinx placed 15 buying 2 vision and 3 stealths.

Your opponents Trist placed 7 and destroyed 3, Darius placed 11, destroyed 2 and bought 1 stealth, Ezreal placed 7, Thresh placed 32, destroyed 2 and bought 2 visions and Amumu placed 17, destroyed 1 and bought 3 stealth and 1 vision.
