Overall, I had a very negative view point of the upcoming Sona rework. I got to watch her get changed on PBE and the majority of the community hated Riot (Fearless) for the Sona Rework. I was only looking at the numbers mostly, and watching the game play videos on youtube. However, now that I've played her... She's so much more fun to play. It was weird actually seeing my team notice and thank me for my heals and shields. And It was really gratifying giving my team my Q buff during team fights.

TL;DR ~ The Sona rework isn't nearly as bad as everyone thought it was going to be. Give the rework a play run, and come to your own conclusions. Because it definitely changed my opinion on the rework! :-) Sona

(Only problem) ~ Riot didn't communicate much at all on PBE, it felt like they completely ignored the hundreds of threads worth of feedback. ~

I totally agree! Bought Sona somewhat earlier to have support to play consistently, but I kind of failed with he and it wasn't fun at all. Now she is incredibly rewarding, and quite clear and more active to play. Even if some Sona veterans might not like it, I love it! Definitely one of my favorite champs all of a sudden, despite not being a support player at all. I hope that they have gone hard on the numbers to finetune them after she has been played a bit, so maybe a small buff will be incoming. Itemization is very available and makes her quite strong, as well.
