Matchmaking system

Over my last 12 games ive grown very angry with Riot and their matchmaking system. Please let me explain. I have a lot of experience with competitive games. Ive been 2200+ in wow. Master level protoss player in sc2. Including 2nd place in the 1993, 1994 Blockbuster Showdown in the online gaming community. 1st place was won by some idiot with a mustache..

I was recently promoted to bronze 3.. yea go me right. Wrong. My immediate next game was me as a fresh bronze 3, and FOUR other bronze 5 players on my team. Since I got promoted has actually just been an ever ending downward spiral of shit. Ive been put with the LOWEST of the LOW players. Ive won 3 of my past 12 games playing as support. Ive had games I assist my ADC getting up to 6 kills in the first 10 minutes of the game.. only to have top lane gets smashed in and the player AFKs. As a matter of fact the MAJORITY of my loses have come from AFKers. out of 20 games ive won 5! Im not a bad player.. I dont feed, I dont afk. I get my ADC kills.. I can feel myself improving as a player.. why is it not showing in my winrate?! I worked so damn hard to get out of bronze 5 and 4.. just to be put right back cause ppl AFK my game?! Cant the game detect AFKers and not deduct so many points?!?

I understand that to be promoted or to progress in ANY game you need to win more than you lose and you need to out perform your skill group. This means carrying. But making a fresh bronze 3 player carry four bronze 5 players isnt exactly fair. I would love to see the MMR system tweaked a little to not let you get demoted. But basically if you get promoted and lose you will stay in the lowest tier of that rank. This way your always consistently playing with people of your skill caliber. Up until you get to challenger which should be fluctuating daily.

Im tired of feeling helpless in matches. Wondering to myself what rank does it take to get to, that people know they cant just let lanes go to shit? People have no idea how to make a lane push itself so that we can try and team fight mid. Our towers just die to minions.. and im sitting there with my lulu support trying to kill them to save the tower.. farm my adc or ANYBODY else for that matter should be getting. If I understand the basic mechanics of how to play and win why cant my teammates?! Nobody has to be a pro! But even when I play carry champs.. Ill get 400+cs in a game, 20+ kills and still somehow lose cause the next person with the most kills will have like 4.. Now I know it isnt about kills which is why I mention my CS. It's so demoralizing to play a game like that and be demoted with an S..

I would really love to see a small rework of the ladder system or how the game matches you with other players..
