seriously though, do you not understand how to dodge them..or maybe kite..or maybe actually counter her

She has no escape whatsoever, no way to chase people, all she does is pretty telegraphed and easy dodge-ble. Sure, she does deal a lot of damage, but that's literally ALL she does in game. Playing against a skilled Illaoi player for the first time really can indeed let you feel that you can do nothing against her, but if you think about it for a second - she has very exploitable weaknesses - low mobility, no CC, no chase, no escape. She is only strong if the enemy team collapses on her. Pick something that can dodge her tentacles and/or can kite her and she is useless. Good luck

She has a window of extreme power and then the rest of her damage is mediocre at best. She's like Gangplank where if he gets those 3 barrel combo's off, he's deadly, if he doesn't, he sits there for a while running back and forth not really offering anything besides his ult.
