Muting abusive player pings

I know I've seen some posts about this in the past, but I wasn't sure if there was an official response to this problem. There needs to be a way to mute an individual's in-game ping spam. I tend to jungle in ranked and pings are typically a great way to communicate with the team for taking down objectives or setting up the timing for a gank. However, there are times when laners have a different idea of when those things should happen and if they don't happen precisely to their liking they respond with the constant '?' or '!' spam over the junglers head. This is essentially the opposite of the intention of the pings as a way of quick, effective team communication.

Is there currently any way to completely block a players spam? And if not, are there any plans to implement such a feature in the near future? note: I already mute all ping sounds
