Ignorant concepts
Essentially, we the players, can be punished for things that aren't necessarily our fault.
For example, I enter a ranked queue and select a champion of my choice according to the pick order etiquette. Then somebody else picks a champion to play the position I've selected to play with total disregard to respect/etiquette.
At this point I have two choices, either continue with the lobby and force myself to play an odd position (Jungle Graves) and have a negative experience OR I have to dodge the queue and suffer the consequences.
Another example of a similar concept would be playing normals, and certain teammates would lose interest in winning or decide to lash out negatively towards myself or other teammates. (By intentionally reducing the quality of the game for others by means other than using the chat system.) At this point, I'd rather quit the current game which will avoid up to or more than 30 minutes of frustration and stress. Upon quitting, I'd be punished by the leaver buster system for something that wasn't in our (positive minded teammates) control. (I will only leave a game in rather extreme cases, perhaps there's two or more people "trolling," our team.)
In the title of this post, (Ignorant concepts) I'm referring to a concept that mostly IGNORES the problem rather than creating a sufficient solution to the problem. I'm in no way saying that these concepts are "stupid," but rather ignorant instead.
I'd suggest that RIOT should take more of a proactive approach to treating these problems rather than a singular "solution."
How do you feel about these situations, and how would you (a positive minded player) approach a plan to treat this problem?
