Piss poor LP

So im silver 2, i had like silver 4 mmr a week ago, now i kinda started climbing, and when i had s3 mmr i was getting 18lp.

NOW im silver 2 with silver 1 mmr and im still getting 18lp a win, i got 18lp from a 35+ minute game, IN MID LANE, and i did okey i supose

Now 2 games ago i played soraka, not gonna lie i watched a movie while i supported, cuz soraka is that brain dead, and we won, game lasted for 20 minutes and i got 20lp, riot what is this bullshit LP system i dont get it, you play "brain dead" roles and you get 20lp but when you carry on mid lane you get 18lp ? like hello ? am what

The LP gained/lost is not based on position or anything like that, its all based on MMR/team mmr, in the 1st game described even though your MMR is higher your team's MMR was probably higher than the opponent, where in the soraka game it was probably more evenly matched, thus you getting the 20LP average amount for the win.
