Dynamic Queue

I think there are a few things that need to be fixed with dynamic queue. Although riot has done a great job integrating this into the game there are a few problems.

  1. Someone should not be kicked out of the queue because they did not ban, not banning can be a tactical choice and if this right is taken from the community you are reducing the amount of tactics that can be put into the game.

  2. Someone should not be kicked out of the game because of not locking in after selecting a champion, there has been plenty of games that i have a selected champion and forgot to lock in because I am so used to the old queue.

  3. Lastly, all of these problems lead to a longer queue and can be frustrating, sometimes i can spend upwards of 30 minutes trying to get into a game.

Not banning is never a tactical choice. It's just a jerk thing to do to your team.

In what scenario would not banning be a good idea?

In every single one that there is no champion in the game that goes 1v5 and does penta.

Well, alternatively I'd ban Urgot, Zilean and Yorick. You know, those champions whom nobody plays.

I don't really get your first line

Hm... I thought you'd get the general idea.

Banning a champion is only truly warranted when the said champion is so strong it can win a match on its own.

Otherwise it's a matter of preference and ultimately doesn't affect the outcome of the game.

  1. What? Not banning is stupid. There's always a champ that you just dont feel like playing against. If not banning is tactical, so is not buying [non-troll] item builds even though you have the gold for them.

  2. Where's the tactics in not locking in? By removing the ability to not lock in and stay in the champ select, riot is reducing the amount of tactics available to the community, therefore lowering the relative elo of everybody. JK. Riot doesn't want people AFKing in champ select, because there could be some important shit going down in the chatbox. Also, they made the new champ select ITS SO PRETTY DONT AFK LOOK AT THAT

  3. If you don't want to spend 30 minutes, then remind everyone, including yourself, to lock in picks or bans.

Whaaaat. You get kicked for not banning?

That's actually really stupid.

You have to lock them in, so if you don't ban, you can't lock in, and you get kicked.
