Well every patch will get release later nerf champions and dont buff another because when you nerf x champ and buff another wont solve anything but if you nerf op champ, other champ would get aback automatically without buffing them, just remove buffs for abit until the dmg is reduced. its obvious and simple

Riot has so many buffs and nerfs to undo because of all the "-3 AD" and "-5 MS" nonsense that it would take years to notice.

  1. Remove any damage increases that aren't a part of items or a champions kit. You shouldn't become a better champion because of your rune choice. Too many champs synergize with damage runes while others that don't are left to rot.

  2. Reduce damage actives of items or severely reduce stats/increase gold costs.

  3. Nerf champion scaling. These have been buffed HARD over the years, specifically AP champs.

  4. Reduce base damages (looking at you, Malphite, Mundo, and Rumble Q)

Simply put, nerfing champions will make the champions that get countered by the nerfed champions stronger. All these nerfs will do is reduce the overall damage but there will still be a champion that has a bigger winrate. I don't think there's any real way to completely balance the game because every time you nerf something, something else becomes stronger.

How to reduce damage in three easy steps.

  1. Change all %pen to %bonus pen. Like it used to be.
  2. Rip damage out of runes. Just flat out fit it.
  3. Profit.
