I play a couple of games a day (2-3), and it's been a month that i haven't been able to unlock a new champion or a new rune page (still suck with 2), it feels so slow now compared to when the IP system was there.
FlayBoy2 votesYou get around 1500 minimum for leveling up. If you win one game a day its like 6 days before u level up. Even less if your playing 2-3 games a day. If you want runepages save up and only buy champions you want or get shards for. I bought kayne and orianna within the last 2 weeks. You also get 50 blue essence per first win of the day. And if you have all augments in the odyssey gamemode you get 10 blue essence for every artifact bug u kill
Kynami1 votesMinimum threshold is actually only around 800. Might be a bit different over in OCE perhaps... From what I remember you only get ~1500 average for the better level-ups every 10-25 levels where a 6300 shard is almost guaranteed.

lol no you don't. i leveled up a few days ago and got 1 single champ worth around 800 BE disenchanted.. thats it. thats all i got.. and i am over level 90 atm..

Not only do you get B.E. a little faster than you got essence, and not only do you have the chance to just unlock a champion from shards at a heavy discount, but you also don't have to pay for the actual runes, and the ability to change rune pages in champ select makes them less essential.

except current runes are more like old masteries, not old runes. and masteries were already free. so saying "you don't have to pay for them like you did old runes" is irrelevant, because you didn't pay for old masteries either.. they cut us down from 2 customization options to 1.. and i got IP WWAAYY faster than i get BE.. the fact is, getting IP every game was a much higher output than getting BE only once a day and on leveling up.
mrmeddyman1 votesProgression feels way better at first 1-30 then it did before after you crest 60 or so it becomes an excruciatingly slow grind to unlock champions
