Bronze ADC main - Should I switch roles?

Hey guys,

I've been playing league for a few months now maining ADC and I started playing ranked towards the end of season 7 and was placed in Silver. I finished my placements yesterday for the new season and was placed in Bronze 5. I know I'm not good, that's why I'm in Bronze, but I want to get better. Often, I will be even with, or even winning my lane but mid and top tend to fall apart before then and I get ganked by them and lose tower. From there is where I struggle because I have a hard time getting back into the game once behind and being able to carry. Should I just stop playing ADC and learn mid? Or stick with ADC and keep practicing? I heard that climbing as an ADC in bronze is a nightmare, but it is my favorite role so I am not sure. Thanks!

you probably just got put there becasue of all the people ahead of you that got pushed down a couple leagues

ADC Takes a lot of practice....like ALOT. If you switch to support for a while you might learn more on what your support can do,what the other support is thinking, or what trades you should look for. Like oh Morgana just missed her q --> that's like 8 seconds of rape for their ADC since she cant really retaliate.

Best change i ever made was starting to use a move/attack key on my keyboard instead of right clicking everyone. It makes kiting and dodging way easier.

Same thing happened to me except bronze 4 then i climbed out to silver 5 in literally a day. Bot lane is a clusterfuck in bronze. Mid you can go twitch, quinn, lucian, kog and even trist pretty easy. Learn how to wave manage. Stop 4 enemy minions right in front of your towerand just chill till u get items. A good tip is push wave 1 and 2 so you get lvl 2 and 3 early for easy lane dominance. If you cant then just back off and wait. Farm can win games in bronze. But objective priority will literally get you to high silver. inhib> Towers >buffs >drag > kills. Stop chasing kills, take an Ad or sheen champ and just push down towers while the 5 retards run around doing nothing. And you will win over 60% of bronze games on some real talk.

In bronze blue and red mean more than drags unless its elder. In silver 4 dont it goes back to normal drag>buff

If you're going to support in bronze 5 you're going to need to quickly assess a few things:

  1. Is this ADC good? If so, do whatever it takes to let him get farm. Do not push him to take kills, do not put yourself in a position to die. Just zone.

  2. If the ADC is not good, be ready to carry. Get Sightstone, but then go straight damage because you'll be down there on your own a lot.

  3. More often than not you'll have something in between - In this case, do 3 things: Ping, Ward, and Roam when the opportunity presents itself. The guy above me (as I write this) suggests Soraka. Soraka only works in B5 when the ADC is good. That's a 20% chance. Focus on Lux, Sona, Annie, or Morgana.

if you wanna learn more macro play and have more impact main jg for awhile, focus on objective rushers and hypercarry jgs like Shyvana or Jax they're simple, point and click and effective
