FPS Drops

Is there anyway to get back to the old league client and/or the old league graphics? Ever since these new graphics, and especially since this new client I have been getting terrible fps drops, is there anyway to optimize this or do i need to get a new laptop?

Just looked up the min spec required and its a 2 GHz processor, wtf, last time i checked it was 1.5....i bought a computer that was 1.8 thinking it was enough and so was cost efficient. Guess this still goes back to then could i get back to the old graphics?
