I think i would be awesome if they would introduce weather into the game ... such as Rain and Snow at random times while playing..... While playing and rain is coming then the sky would get darker and it would rain... etc for all weather.

Riot mentioned when they redid Summoner's Rift that the lighting is painted onto the textures. Things like Weather would require them to re-make every texture for the map. Honestly, if they're doing that, I'd much rather have it as a seasonal skin rather than as something that fluctuates between 3-4 conditions every game.

There used to be an official Snow SR during the winter.
It had quite a lot of snow particles, I had a bad PC but I was 100% fine.

Stackless Python1 votesSkyrim modders have done a nice job making weather part of a massive game like Skyrim, wouldn't be hard to add this to a top down, single angle, game with only one popular map that is static in design. It would take time, but it's probably never going to happen because it wouldn't make them any money, unless you had to pay for weather packs with RP :/

Game has a visual style centered around clarity, weather tends to do the exact opposite, Disrupting clarity. This alone is why they won't add it.
Other reasons include craptops not being able to run the game properly, this adding nothing to the game other then 1 moment for a player to go "cool" then completely forget it's there because they have to ignore the weather to pay attention to the game.
Having the option to disable or not changes nothing.

Riot should definitely bring back Seasonal maps though, or create different instances of summoners rift with different themes. That would be super fun and enjoyable across the board.
EDIT: different shaders for day/night might work without a hitch on weaker machines too but im no expert >_>;
