pretty neat points, too bad i adc a lot so doesnt help me in particular
It doesn't mention the fact that it reduces healing which is great against people like Mundo or Vlad and most adc's (which is why assassins take it a lot as their target is usually an adc)
Its rated so highly because lower ELO people don't know how to calculate or respect lethals. High elo mostly uses it as a niche grevious wounds
I usually only use ignite now if they have someone who can heal such as 
and even then 
there's items that can be bought to guarantee the same effect.
yes i definately shoulda mentioned that ignite is particularly good vs champs with heal..though i think more often or not people choose to take ignite even in games where those healing champs arent in
Teleport is the most overrated, ignite top is where its at
It halves all healing and does unreducable damage. Basically a coin toss between exhaust for lategame debuff and ignite for early game snowball.
