What happened to the laning phase?
What ever happened to farming your lane? seems most games laning phase is over at like 10 to 12 min 15 for a long game.

In recently season, the loss of the first tower signalled the end of the laning phase, since a laner would have to push into the enemy teams controlled area, which is hard to do safetly. Considering most champions can take a tower in 1-2 minion waves, the game has sped up considerably.
I was discussing builds with a friend a bit earlier this season, about a late game build for Vladimir. Then realized that I was referring to 20+ min to be late game. Not my favorite meta, haha.
Well, people are grouping and sieging earlier for a faster game end. Simple as that.
