So is Riot ever gonna add report for being held hostage? I mean if a game is down 3v5 and one person refused to surrender on that team but the other team just prolongs the game past the point it should've ended? And the answer of You don't have to surrender they want to keep playing for their enjoyment what about us who are stuck in this game that can't even leave base? we leave we get hit with a report but they cant do this because what its fun for them but no one else?

If there's no toxicity or indication that the player is doing this purposefully just to be malicious then no. Every player has a right to honestly vote on whether or not they think a game is winnable.

However, if there is malicious intent behind it proven through chat logs then a normal report will work just fine.

What they could do right now is just fix it so a 2:1 vote is majority.... While they're at it, maybe add majority ruling for 15 min surrenders involving AFKs.

You're not being held hostage.

When you click Play -> Find Match -> Accept you've already agreed to invest approximately 20-45 mins of your time to play a match. After that, it's fair for your teammates to collectively decide to surrender or keep playing.

And please stop with this expression, "holding hostage". You know what a hostage is ? It requires 'A' a hostage taker, 'H' hostage(s), and 'B', someone who has something that 'A' wants. And 'A' uses H in order to make B giving him what he wants, relying on the fact that B will not accept any harm to be done to H. Here, you know what ? There's nothing such a B in your story ! So this is not hostage. You ACCEPTED to play until the end of the game, with TEAMMATES. If they don't want to surrend, then you have to play with them. You don't want to ? Fine, go AFK. You'll be caught by Leaver Buster system, and punished as you should be, because you refused to play a game that you previously agreed to play. You can't stand this system ? Quit LoL. That's what I've done. I only play with 4 premades now ( Well, there are many other reasons, but still ).

Don't hide your poor reasoning behind strong words, without any clue of their real meaning.

I'd say no, because there are some scenarios where I myself have pressed No to a surrender vote because the game was able to be won, but my team really didn't think so. Sometimes we do end up winning after I say No. However, sometimes we do end up losing, and it'd be stupid if someone could report you for trying to make a come back because you were "Holding them hostage".

I can feel you for scenarios like what you just described, but it's not an absolute, 100% of the time this is doing something bad scenario like trolling, griefing, intentionally feeding, and verbally harassing are.
