Leaverbuster

Leaverbuster in no way helps me improve my dc/afks. Honestly, most of the time I dc/afk my internet is the problem. Sometimes it is the league client itself. Can you not see riot? No one likes this new system. I'd rather just be banned than be given this. Basically this is your logic... I left a game to do something else so I have to play more games to get rid of the punishment whereas banning is I left a game to do something else other than League so I don't get to play League. Overall, I have been playing this game a long time. I have not seen a significant change in dcers or afkers in anyway. All this system is asking me to do is quit this game which is a shame because i absolutely love this game. Oh and if you get this punishment none of your friends will ever want to play with you because of the wait.

100% agree with you.

I read support posts about the leaverbuster system on these forums after being punished for disconnections out of my control. Most of the official riot posts suggest fixing the problems causing disconnects, such as contacting your ISP.

When I called my ISP, I was told nothing was wrong, and that it is "normal" to experience occasional outages due to network congestion. I also called my electric company, and they said occasional outages due to downed wires is to be expected during heavy storms (obviously).

So now:

I play when the weather is nice.
I play when most people are sleeping, so I'm not competing for Internet bandwidth.
I tracert the servers to ensure I will not disconnect from bad latency.

I also "test the waters" after each new patch release by doing a tutorial game to make sure the new software does not crash the game and does not have firewall issues.

I don't like leaverbuster. Group of 5 I was with for team builder had to wait out the timer with me....so stupid. I'm not even a leaver. I had a temporary laptop issue and I get penalized.

I like how Riot just ignores this post criticizing their actions
