add new reporting system for champ select.

please add a way to report people before a game starts. im tired of people auto-locking, or taking a role someone else has already called. then its either put up with this guy and take a different role, or leave and he gets away scott free. neither seem very fair to me. so here is my proposal. firstly add a way in reports to see the pre-game and post-game chat. then make it so you can report players before a game starts, so if you are forced to leave because of some childish player you can report them for it first. maybe it doesn't go through unless you get 3 or 4 votes to report him. i know it would increase the number of reports you have to sift through, but i feel its time we start acknowledging that there are to many toxic players that go unpunished because i want to leave the game before it starts. some might say team builder is a solution, but i don't think waiting half an hour for a full team is very fair to us either. it leaves the bad players totally unpunished while yet again inconveniencing me. i love league of legends and hope that one day we can deal with the percentage of us that make the game less fun, even before we start the game.

edit: there's been some confusion so let me clear it up. I switch back and forth between talking about blind pick and draft/ranked. When I talk about calling a role i meant blind pick. Of course in draft those above you have every right to take any position they want so long as its not already physically taken. but even then theres the issue of someone directly below you grabbing a champ and locking in for a position you had stated you were taking.

In general when players do not communicate, even when asked I wait until like last 5 seconds sometimes just select a champion and let it lock automatically without clicking the lock button, I ask in chat for a solution that is good enough take for example mostly applies to draft matches a game with a toxic adc who was running completely wrong runes, no communication just locks adc, my supports are banned I let them know in chat I can't lane with this person I need any solo role would be better than it, No one listens, I talk in chat again being last pick still no communication I just choose a champion and let the game lock for me.

The game starts players get Toxic even after they are the ones who refused to communicate, I wait until the last second to even do anything, but I can't leave the game or I lose my promo's, and get a 5 minute penalty.

It would be nice if players would actually understand that some players just can't work among side others who auto lock with non communication in champion select, even the game after being trolled by a toxic ADC, I run something non Meta that works better in team fights in a solo lane, and another toxic player doesn't pay attention to chat and locks another for same lane just to throw off game without saying a word.

I don't mind so much about Meta breaks, dual Top/Bot roles in Normals whatever I just do it for fun.

MMR is not perfect

. Please add the ability for players who don't want to play with me to kick me (This way i can find a game with players who actually communicate and understand what they are doing.)

. Please add the ability for me to leave the game

. Instead of Solo Q add an option for players to create custom Lobby's with more than 2 players for ranked.

Riot also said that Communication is still required not just pick order refusing to communicate is still being toxic and report worthy.

. This means if I ask a question like "Who is playing ADC" . Are you running CDR Runes what percent

Perhaps players don't take needing info seriously in lower elo as they do in Gold 1 or above, but there are consequences for non communication.

. Reported by other players . Non Meta Champions being played by me (Then kids who rage over it) . Feed from one or more people on the team . Loss of game

Pick order is only meant to solve disputes and problems but won't always solve the issues within 30 seconds when you need to take 30 minutes to explain to unskilled players who don't understand a thing.

you, callers, are the most toxic part of community, you call even when 1st pick is busy banning and then are getting mad when 1st one picks what they want your call gives you 0 rights, they saw it and decided to ignore, it's their right. it's communication too communication it doesn't mean that you are getting the role if you type fast, period

Sorry but that is a REALLY bad idea in every way. First what happens if you have DUO q's who want/need spacifie lanes. Then you have the worst Best reason this is having a reporting function like that would be bad.

I get top lane and told by TEAM Pick "Meta-champ A" I replay "No I want champ B" Team says Report him. My replay is "Champ B can do this, I have one with him before." Result's in being reported even if with champ B I carry the game.

Plus this is the Solo reason they are trying to build Team builder.

The only problem with this is some people see themselves being the first person to call mid or something in chat before other people sometimes so it would not be fair to punish them if, in their chat log on their screen, they see themselves claiming a role first and then seeing someone else call the same role. Then it is just a game of he-said, she-said. Yes there are those out there who really do call it second or third then instalock but in the grand whole of the situation Riot has no way of truly knowing who called it first.

What happens if I get rolled as say Urgot and fall into the told you so situation. Then would the tribunal see me as feeding.

Man I spent ALOT of cash on my account and whenever someone start stuff like this I start to worry. I'm maybe a gold teir player at best who scores average out to at LEAST 6 deaths per game. If I die less then 4 times I figure the enemy team just stinks.

I never Feed btw I just get ganked very easy, or I make stupid plays often trying to cover for my team mates even more stupid plays.

Auto-locking in blind pick or draft shouldn't be punishable. Only ranked. I'm sick of people saying "Reported" when someone auto locks during a blind pick match. If someone goes into a blind pick it's because they have the intent on playing the champion they want to play, regardless of who calls what. If I have my heart set on playing Sion before the game starts and someone else calls top, I'll take him wherever, I don't care who called it. Blind pick is for practicing is champion or just casual play with a champion you wan't. I don't wanna get stuck with support 24/7 just because the rest of the team has better connection then me. It's to people who think you can report for auto locking in a blind pick match that really piss me off.
