Spectator Option for Taking Over for a Disconnect

Often I'll be spectating a friend of mine, waiting to play with him and one of his teammates will disconnect. It would be awesome for there to be an option for a friend to be able to enter a match and help out. Maybe if the disconnected player has been disconnected for more than 30 seconds or so, and if they return, the other player (spectator) gets booted back out to spectate. This would have to have stipulations on it.

  1. Can only takeover DC player from spectate for a team that has a friend on your friends list.
  2. If ranked, can't takeover if friend is already duo-queued
  3. if norm/unranked, number 2 doesn't apply.

It's a bad idea considering how, on top of having spectators watching the match be watching at a delay, the new player could potentially ruin the entire match since it's not actually his match to worry about. If you make it a loss/win for that player too it'll also be unfair as well. If you don't, the new player has absolutely no repercussions for his actions.

Seriously though, There should be someway to make up for bad internet connections of your solo-q allies. This is just the best idea I have come up with.
