Electrocute rune theorycrafting

Check Out My OP Rune Page

Because i'm impatient and cant wait until riot releases the actual new runes on PBE i was just wondering something about the new electrocute rune.

I main Teemo Teemo and in the past i've generally taken thunderlord's decree as my keystone, But now in the new rune system there is a difference in how the new TLD replacement (Electrocute) works.

The old TLD worked by having the damage go off with TLD whenever 3 attacks or abilities hit an enemy champion, meaning Teemo players could use the AA>Q>AA combo to proc the keystone.

The new Electrocute Keystone works by dealing damage whenever 3 UNIQUE attacks or abilities hit an enemy champion. Does this mean that the AA>Q>AA combo wont work anymore? if it doesn't can AA>Q> E poison proc the keystone?

The main question i guess is whether or not the first auto and second auto count as different damage sources as they are separate auto attacks or if they don't and therefore we wouldn't be able to use the Electrocute keystone effectively (unless Teemo's E passive poison counts as a damage source).

The link above is a general idea of what a lot of AP Teemo Teemo players are wanting to use but we do not know whether or not it would even work.

It probably means unique sources in that it can't be over-time-- you can no longer proc TLD off of... say Fidd drain or something like that. That's what I'd imagine anyway... Unique refers to its own instance, so each separate AA is unique but damage over time or channeled effects are not. So Fidd's ult, or Malz' ult, or their dots, so on and so forth...

Teemo AA-Q-AA will still proc it.

They have clarified in the past that even a string of 3 AA would proc the effect, provided they occur within 2 seconds.

This counts from the moment your first hit lands, so even with 0.5(0)1 attack speed, it is possible to proc the effect, as your third hit would land at 1.9(9) after the first.

Here is the path that I am planning to use with Teemo. I main on-hit Teemo starting with Nashor's and then Guinsoo's along with attack speed boots, and then rylai's into Liandry's for OP late game damage. Right now I have 60% win rate with this build, but I think with new runes early game would be so much more OP than it is right now. Of course, if you have Panth against you, then this is the worst choice lol

This is the build I was thinking for teemo. Relying more on his mushrooms as a keystone for his damage.

This kind of build, I would more likely intend for other game modes though.
