Can Riot make the order and chaos borders usable without the skins

That would be a more friendly thing and make the quest worth it if Riot had a heart.

I'm mostly saying this because I spent RP And didn't know you needed the skin on dawnbringer

The project border doesn't work without the project skins, the conquerer karma border doesn't work without that skin, etc. Dude. This is basic logic.

But those borders were unlocked by buying those skins.

This is an event where, by playing every day for two weeks, you can earn a border. ... But only if you pay for the skin that you may not like to use for a champion that you may not play.

It's not bad the way it is, but it could be cool for players to show their order and chaos borders (that they unlock without unlocking the skins) when they play other champions.

Although since probably almost everyone who plays the game will get one or the other border, their coolness will probably be diminished by their commonness.
