Can we talk about Jayce for a second.

Brace yourself: I'm complaining about . This champion has been undeniably far too strong for about three months now, ever since they buffed his damage and buffed his mana by cutting his Q and E costs in half (No more ! you thought laning against him was awful before!) . He showed how strong he was (Incredibly oppressive early, power spiking mid, and still carrying late game (although SLIGHT falloff))- at Worlds Season 6, and I thought he would be fixed DURING worlds for solo Q.

Didn't happen, that's ok give him time to shine right?

Preseason, he still doesn't get touched. Frustrating for top laners, but not complaining.

Riot goes on December break, leaving him busted for the start of Season 7 which is ok.

First Patch 7.1, he isn't touched. Fine, I guess Riot locked in the changes back in early December and couldn't slip a Jayce nerf in there.

And now Patch 7.2 is about to go live, with no indication of Jayce nerfs. I'm very sad.

Riot either: A) Forgot he exists B) Thinks he is balanced or C) Knows he is out of line, but haven't touched him or communicated his issues. I think Riot should put out a statement explaining that they think he is ok in his current state, or nerf him. It doesn't even have to be a big nerf! Sorry for shitpost and hyperboles but I am crazy frustrated at this point.

His winrate drops 12.5% from 25 minutes to 40 minutes. It's much more than a "slight falloff." Though I do agree he needs a little tiny love tap nerf on his mana costs or something, I don't find him THAT oppressive. There's also much stronger champs out there that need to be brought in line first.

Jayce was broken before the Armor Penetration nerf. Also, Jayce mains havent built tear in over a year now, back when he was a dumpster champ that nobody would play. You were more likely to find an Urgot or Yorick old rather than a Jayce. Also, they decreased the damage on Jayce's W from 130% increase damage to 110%.

Just because a Champion is played in LCS does not mean its broken. Most people did not know how to counter Jayce at worlds due to his newish buff. Now people know his counters are Tanky champs with sustain. Jayce is not OP early, if he is using his abilities on you, then you will win lane because his abilities cost tons of mana for only little amounts of damage. If Jayce is autoing you early game then its your fault for not using brush to your advantage. Also if a Jayce falls behind at all, he is most likely to stay behind the rest of the game.

I guess we should nerf all snowballing champions like Riven, Yasuo, Vayne, etc.?

Not frustrating when you know how to counter him and actually play smart.

No but he really is broken right now. I went Riven top a couple games ago, stomped him out, denied him cs, ended up 6-0 in lane. Time to group up - he gets 12-10 and carries the game. Like... what?
