Talon used to be my favorite champion to play. I honestly think that the new 99% slow make him almost impossible to play. You either jump on someone and they counter you or they just use an ability to escape.
Talon was so fun though ;(

Constantine222 voteswell here's how it is. the problem with Talon is that he has no stickiness. zed akali fizz kassadin and leblanc also dont have any silence but they have at least 2 gapclosers to stick to their targets. Talon only has his E and without the silence its not enough to do anything. but people who play Talon are very few. Riot cares more about Champs who are more popular. his pick rate is like 3% or something. also to further emphasise that riot doesnt care about him i'll also give proof. Search the forums and put as a keyword "Talon" and check the box that says "has riot comments" and pick the option "past year" you will find 5 entries.... 5 responses in a YEAR. also since release Talon was bugged and sometimes his E didnt amplify his damage at all. Riot found this bug a YEAR later. the while year noone from riot even monitored him to see if his kit actually works as intended. the only reason they nerfed him is because people cried about him. he had the silence since for ever and NOW its a problem? i whould say its all fine if he had one more gapcloser but right now with only one gapcloser he really needs the silence. if they dont want silence on him then they should make his E able to be casted twice. having stacks like akali's Ult. that way he wont need a silence. but you are wasting your time here. just pick zed. he does what Talon does more reliable and safer. why pick talon? a champ with no escapes and unreliable gapcloser that most of the times kills him than helps him. I was a Talon main. i know every trick about him. But i'm switching over to zed. Zed is harder to learn but in a week or so it wont matter. zed is very forgiving. you can go wherever you want on the map without a single fuck given. he feels like a kassadin sometimes xD
Mediocre Joe2 votesyeah there is a lot of high elo players saying he is like bottom tier for mid adcs now, Riot didn't care about balancing him in any way they replaced his silence with a nerf that hurt him a lot and they don't care to fix it. Everyone was talking that when the change hit PBE that he needed something in exchange for losing his silence because the 1/4 of a second CC wasn't enough to put him even close to where he was before. RIP talon we saw you on the pro stage for a few games at least say hello to urgot while you are down there.

Tsen1 votesTalon is still playable imo, I just have to pay more attention to their escape CDs now than before. Other than that he feels the same except even more riskier? The only gripe I have now is that I can no longer do something about channels (nunu, fids, kat*** I use to enjoy picking talon into Kat :< no más)
JustMyBassCannon1 votesThe problem is Talon's base design. He's gonna need a rework, and for now, removing the silence keeps him from being an oppressive assassin pick. He is weak, probably not very viable in Ranked play, but it's what we get until they come up with a way to fix his kit.

yeah I wish he had more to his kit he is just an all in champ I wish you could trade with him more or have something besides just spamming all your abilities and hoping you get a kill.
