Address problem with people leaving games or rage quitting
This is something that is really starting to frustrate me.
The Remake system allows a team to push the eject button should a player happen to be unable to connect to the game from the start. After 2 minutes, if the game recognises a play has not connected, the client offers the chance to remake and this window elapses after 5 mins.
HOWEVER
As I'm sure many, if not all, people have experienced before in the past, if a player decides to, for whatever reason, leave the game after the remake window elapses (be it a disconnect, rage quit or even just leaving because they have something better to do) the game then offers no escape for those still present in the game. Now I know good and well that it is more than possible for a team to win a game as 4 players against 5, however this is most often in a situation where the game has already been in progress for a reasonable amount of time, most likely past the laning phase. If the player happens to leave early in the game, it puts the team at a DISGUSTINGLY HUGE disadvantage. The enemy team are more likely to overwhelm players by ganking and ambushing, this leads to snowballing and an eventual loss.
To get to the point: This is not fair, even if the leaver gets a sanction. The victim team still ends up losing LP after an unbalanced game because of one player.
This needs to be given a work around in some way or another. Perhaps a system similar to that in Overwatch Ranked play, if a player disconnects, after a certain amount of time (say 10-15 minutes), if the player does not reconnect the players on the victim team wont have to lose LP after a match that was clearly in the enemy teams favour.
TL;DR: It's not fair that if a player leaves a mid progress ranked match, the remaining players still have to fight on as if it's still a balanced game. And then lose LP after the biased match has ended.
