What's up with all the diamonds in my matches...

so ive been getting real bad luck off and on through this past year where i just randomly get matched up with way higher elo players, without even being in a full 5's group. i get if i que up with 5 friends but when its me and 1 other friend who is gold 5 and we're stuck facing 1 d5 a g1 a g2 and a p5, while my team is two g5 a b1 and two unranked who clearly didnt know the mechanics to play bot lane from watching them. its really hard to handle a match and win or least try and keep up when u got three people who cant understand how to play safely and try to catch someone out. so i guess to my point sorry for the ranting, but "what's up with this seemingly unfair match up in the que system?"
