Why is veigar still unnerfed/reworked

Okay so I was in champion select, enemy picked veigar so i thought that i could counter it with zed pick. I picked zed and immediately stomped the veigar in lane, he got some kills from my jungler who wasn't good at all but overall i won lane pretty straight. Then at about veigar's level 11 when i was still trying to deny him from stacking AP which i did pretty well too he just went bot and missed his stun after our adc went under turret he just flashed at her used Q and R and the full hp Miss Fortune went literally 100% to 0% from these 2 spells he did this to the Yi in my team and the MF whenever he saw them like 5 times in row then he was basically oneshotting anyone.. So I'am here to ask, how can i shut down veigar so he doesnt basically destroy everyone.. he doesnt even have to land his stun to kill you anymore. And just a note.. the Veigar was bad, he was not a good player neither a good veigar. How can a champ that is so easy to play be so overpowered and in any stage of game oneshot everyone except fulltanks? PS i had magic resist and HP and i was still getting uncounterably flashed on and oneshotted.

You consider merc thread as your only magic resist item to be valid source? The Veigar who was supposedly not that good of a player had 32 kills in 37 minutes... and you still chose to build no magic resist? In fact other than the jax who had 1 magic resist item no one else on your team did....

Well let me answer the question for you -- Veigar is fine the way he is. He's actually pretty middle of the pack in terms of power for the mid lane doesn't need nerfs or buffs. That being said he does tend to do well in low ELO where people don't know how to end a game in a decent time or build outside of their pre-determined items.

Do you think that being forced to build resistance against someone who got wrecked in lane is okay?

Actually he is down right cancer in low elo because even if you have one brain dead ally, ending the game becomes so much more difficult. When he scales he just one-shots you. I really do think that veig probably needs a rework because he is not viable in high elo but downright cancerous in low elo. There needs to be a middle ground.

Veigar only has one thing going for him: His obnoxious cage. If he didn't have it he'd struggle a hell of a lot harder.
