Who is better riven or olaf
I have 6000 ip rn so I was thinking of getting a top laner. So I thought of riven or olaf ik they are both good top laners but which one is worth the money? Or should I save up my ip for a 6300 champ like ekko

riven currently is out of meta which is strange considering she is extremely snowbally. olaf requires a LOT of games to get right. don't let the simplicity of his kit fool you, more often then not you overestimate your strength's at certain points in the game. or maybe thats just me.

Gnar for days. He is so fun to play, especially when you can get a surprise ult in. And his taunt's are hilarious.
Just because someone isn't meta that doesn't mean they suck. Anyways, going off winrates alone, Riven is slightly better atm. But both of them are very good.
Riven: Hard champ to master and she relies on early game kills for late game; otherwise you are basically useless. People are so toxic with riven b/c they watch others go 30/0 consistently but they can't do it themselves. Easy to feed, but easy to get fed.
Olaf: I have never played him so IDK.
I would save up for someone like Darius or Illaoi. Ekko is good also but not the best for top lane IMO.

Since his last buff, Olaf has been in a pretty good state. He has a good ranged ability, Riven doesn't. Plus he jungles quite well.
