Garen's Villain Mechanic and Poppy Rework Thoughts

I was somewhat intrigued when Garen's Villain (mini?) mechanic was announced in PBE. However, with poppy rework coming around, I think the villain-branding mechanic was somewhat 'wasted' on Garen, mainly because his role as a really sturdy meatspin of death, rather than a dedicated huge F-YOU diver to utilize the hateful mechanic of smashing a Villain.

Personally, I think the villain mechanic (branding a recent killer as a Villain) would probably fit into a more, nuanced anti-carry : Poppy. This is mainly because Riot has been dawdling about reworking her, but rather split about it : she has an interesting (broken) kit, but changing it would significantly alter her. Either they have to give up her ridiculous burst or her ridiculous hidden survivability power.

I'm proposing, or rather think that normalizing her, and in the fashion that Riot had always done, shifting around power. But in regards to Garen's Villain branding mechanic, I'm using it as her central kit : She'll still be doing what she's good at : smashing faces and being impervious, but shifted that power around. It probably would also fit her Hammer Diplomacy theme, with hating Noxus(see? A good start for Villain reasoning), and also being a judge, jury and executioner about her rulings in court.

Passive : (Insert hammer pun. Or use good'ol Hammer Diplomacy) pasted from Garen's Villain Mechanic. Component 1 : Enemies with the most recent kills/most kills is branded a Villain. Unsure which one is the most stable source? Component 2 : Damaging and/or damage from a champion source grants Poppy (small bonus). (small bonus) is stackable, up to (certain threshold), and if that champion is a villain, the stacks accumulates faster. Stacks decays (fast).

As much as I hate two-component main passive, With villain tacked on the main passive, I can't let Poppy have no passive when early laning or not having a Villain around for extended period of time. Furthermore, component 2 will keep her laning somewhat relevant, and give a small push to promote aggressive or punish aggressors. Im open to another idea, but the main passive should be the villain branding. But she does need a relevant secondary passive to help her early game.Heck, I'm even open to Fiora's old passive..

Q: Devastating BlowSame as old, with tweaks ACTIVE: Poppy's next basic attack is modified to deal (medium - flat)+(%low-max health)magic damage, up to a cap. (casting resets auto-attack timer). Hitting a Villain will improve the % to high, and reduces the CD very slightly. Upon hitting a champion, Poppy movement speed will be boosted by (small-large)%, depending on how hard she hit from the %max health damage.

W : Iron WIthin, Iron Without_ Paragon of Demacia felt a little bland, and as Riot put it, free stats._ Passive 1-Iron Within : Reduces incoming damage(low %) from non-villain enemy. Gains more bonus defensive stats (armor, mr) (flat, just like old PoD) when impaired with CC (bonus fades away as she recovers, and lingers shortly afterwards). Passive 2-Iron Without : Increases movespeed(medium%) and attack speed(low%) when hit/hitted by a Villain. Gains more offensive stats(penetration, maybe others?) (flat as well) when impaired with CC (fades just like Iron Withing).

Can only activate one of the passive at a time. CD of 5s between switching states after not receiving any damage from a champion source. (a-la Dota2's Blink Dagger - cannot switch states within 5s after receving dmg from champion source)

_Not really a fan of Iron Warrior Chapter from WH40k (I'm more of a Thousand Sons guy)- But tweaked her old Paragon of Demacia passive to fit with the villain mechanic. Now she has to choose : stronger defence from her villain's ally, or break said villain face harder. it is still free stat, but at least there are work around it. _

**E : Heroic Charge **_ Keeping her most fun skill, with extra icing on the top_ ACTIVE: Poppy charges at the target enemy, dealing them (low) magic damage and carrying them along with her.

If they collide with terrain, she stuns her target for 1.5 seconds and deals them additional (low)magic damage. If a villain is carried this way and collided to another champion, or another champion collided with a villain through this skill, she stuns them BOTH for 1.5s, and impairs their vision shortly afterwards for 2s.( Even lower extra magic damage, because colliding two meats is not as hard as smashing a meat through a brick wall. or a cliff)

R: Lily of Steel_ ( can't really think of a good hammer pun, and Diplomatic Immunity is no longer about...Immunity 100%)_ ACTIVE : For the next 6/7/8 seconds, Poppy brands an enemy as villain. A new villain will not be appointed until this timer runs out. Additionally, Killing the villain announced this way during the timer will prolong the remaining buff onto the next villain. The villain will have reduced distance travel from dashes and MS when moving away from Poppy.

During this state : Q - Now additionally slows (huge % slow, short duration) a villain. Killing blow from Q completely refreshes Q.

OR

Q - Now also shatters the Villain's armor and MR for (short) seconds. Killing blow from Q grants large MS boost buff in small aoe.

W - Iron Within - greatly reduces damage from non-villain. Immensely increase tenacity from non-villain CC. Iron Without - Greatly improves MS and AS bonuses with villain interaction. Immensely increase Damage Amplification to a Villain.

E - Minions and monsters will now account for collision purposes. Stunning a target now reduces the cooldown by 50%, and impairs vision regardless of collision type. (probably best paired with slowing Q)

OR

E - Charging a villain will pin down them to the spot. The villain can no longer move further than 450 distance from the spot.(probably best paired with shattering Q)

_All of current Poppy scary late game potential, but no longer will she be both impervious and ridiculous at the same time. Now players will have to choose which of her old ult power split, depending on which W state she is in. _

These are just my ideas to throw around regarding Poppy imminent rework. As much as I like her old CC and Damage Immunity, having both immunity and the burst power in same kit is kinda too strong. I guesss let Olaf be the Immune Beserker, while let poppy smash faces harder. Honestly I'm more of convinced of Riot's old line of work when it comes to rework; recent reworks are very, very different to my taste. I just hope Riot is not changing her too much.

Ehh I don't really like them using the same terminology on a unique trait for a champ. xD

I think it was perfect for Garen. Garen is the team bodyguard and his role is to protect your teamates and do damge. This new perk helps you target who to focus in a fight, that way your not wasting your ult on the support with low health. Gren should always be built with Black cleaver and then all tank.
