Does Kha'Zix's evolved Q act as two hits

I was playing Kha and I jumped on an ashe. I was fed so I was able to killed her so fast that I only used to abilities. However, my thunder lords went on cooldown. I killed her in what she said was .32 seconds which is a time frame that I could have in no way auto attacked her. So I'm wondering if the Q hits twice when it's evolved because your hitting with two claws not just one in its pre-evolved state.
