What are some support items to build along with Talisman?

Just wondering. I'm fairly new to supporting, so I built Talisman and I also bought a Sightstone. Apparently my team wasn't happy with my build. What other items are there?

It depends who you are playing.

AP Support: Probably more AP items. Items with utility . Etc.
Tank Support: More tank stats. Armor/MR, depending on matchup.

That doesn't really tell you anything though, so I'll elaborate a little bit.

Items for any support: item 3069 item 2049 item 3190 item 3050 item 3222 item 3009 / item 3117

Items for mostly AP support: item 3092 item 3165 item 3504 (meh) item 3060 (meh) item 3023 (meh) item 3020

Items for mostly tank support: item 3401 item 3800 item 3143 item 3110 item 3056 (meh) item 3047 / item 3111

Example Builds: Alistar : item 3401 item 3111 item 2049 item 3190 item 3222 item 3143 Lulu : item 3092 item 3117 item 3050 item 3504

Of course, there are not the only options. However, they tend to be agreed upon to be the best options. Always itemize depending on the matchup. I hope this has helped you. If you need more suggestions, feel free to message me or add me in game.

Idk, I don't like item 3401 on tanks. I pick item 3069 on Malphite support every game now. I like it more. Gives you more gold in lane, and later, more sustain. Has better active. I should clarify that I don't build talisman until I have Zeke's, and often even after one more defensive item. Then go item 3050 almost every game. item 3105 or item 3110 next.
