So basically I have to spend money in order to play ranked. It took me over a month just to unlock 12 champions and hit level 30. Why is it scripted so that you can't play ranked upon hitting 30 because of champ conditions not being met. There are free champs in rotation, and not to mention the ones I own, which put me well over 20 champs.
Just another confirmation I already had a feeling about, how this game is just a money grab.
The free Champ rotation are only allow in Normal
Because there can be 10 different ban and pick, it is require you "OWNED" 20 Champion to play Ranked.
Ok so normally I would say anything Riot does is a money grab, but NO ONE in their right mind wants You picking a champ you don't even own into ranked, it is a Ranked match, people care a lot about how these play out and to have someone enter with only a couple of champs ready is just not okay for ranked because of the autofill. I thank Rito for this, you MUST be prepared before going into ranked just to troll because you're trying to learn a champ or don't have enough champs to cover all roles incase you were filled.
Free champs arent allowed in ranked so that people that just play random champs they havent even bought yet. You need 20 champs since theoretically if you are lastpick all your other 19 could be gone through picks and bans.
Geez if you were a smurf like myself. Buy RP once and run with your favourite champion until you accumulated lots of BE
kinda happy you need that requirements. New people in ranked just end up ruining it for people. Play the game or a while till you get the 20 champions(really doesnt take that long). Quite literally got it at lvl 36 on my alt.
So you did some combination of spending all your blue essence on expensive champ and/or did not do the low level missions that give you free champs.
There are 14 champions that cost 450 BE. You get like 8 to 10 or so free champions. The only over lap between the two that I recall is 
. So getting 20 champs for ranked is pretty easy if you want to be able to go into rank immediately after hitting 30. So hardly Riot's fault if you do not get 20 champs.
Further more, when I leveled as alt account at the end of last season, I had 46 champions when it reached level 30.
(I also have 2200 unused BE and 4 champ shards for unowned that could be unlocked for that amount, and two others that could be disenchanted for enough to unlock another 1860 shard or to get enough to unlock a 3150 BE champion of my choice)
Many of these are very good champions for an actual new player to play while learning the game.
I think quite a few us agree on that even lv30 is too low for people to start Ranked, because you don't even get to learn the game in that short period of time. You can learn only one role at best, but itemization and deeper understanding of the game needs a lot more time.
Free champ rotation is exclusive to normals and such. It isn't available in ranked bud. Also the game wants you to have a library of champs incase yours gets banned in the gamemode that matters the most.
Also not a money grab you dolt. You level up get your capsules and get ur champs. You get one just for doing the fuckin tutorial. Of course you can spend money to fast track this endevour. But it isn't unreasonable a grind. I didn't spend a lick of money on champs during our after i unlocked ranked. Long long after i would buy bundles and they had the champs in them but no flat out buy champs because there isn't a necessity to do so.
I think I could have been in ranked by like level 15. This game isn't that hard.
You use your BE are more expensive champions
you could just buy some cheap champions with be to fill up. also you gonna get your shit kicked in on ranked.
