What do you think about Akali's current state?

So I think Akali is one of those champions that don't really fit in with other champions both gameplay wise and even how she looks. When I look at Akali I think she should look like and play similar to Zed and Shen. All of them look like they fit in each others world. But I feel like on gameplay side Akali isn't fun to play against and isn't generally a healthy champion. Akali is a champion that is really just good against beating up new players. I do not think that is a good model for a champion. I know this isn't how she was meant to be but it is what she has turned into. Akali is supposed to be a all in burst assassin with mobility, which she is, but if you compare her to Katarina, who has generally the same attributes, Akali is normally a champion that you want to play against less. It is not that she is hard to counter but she isn't fun to counter like if you stun Katarina during her ult you get satisfaction out of it compared to Akali where if you stun her in her W it generally doesn't fell rewarding. I feel like she could use anything from a few tweaks to a full rework. I want to here your opinions on her current state. If you feel like she should get a new kit I had a idea floating around that I will post if wanted. But what's your opinions and ideas?
