Chances of unboxing Hextech Annie skin shard?

You can get Hextech Annie skin shard from forging 10 gemstones but I would like to know the odds of getting one straight from a box? I know it's rare but how rare? I haven't found any info about it.

This is BS because I have opened 185 chests and only received 2 of the 10 gems...

I say this because you can get 1 chest per week, 40 weeks per season, 200 chests in 5 seasons, which is a 5% drop rate. I'm either super unlucky or the drop rate is way lower than what they are hinting.

I find that really hard to believe. Gemstone droprate is supposed to be ~4%. With 185 chests you should get ~7 Gems. Of course you might be unlucky and get only 5, or even 4. But 2? That's stretching credibility very thin...

Well if this doesn't take the cake for the biggest nub move ever I got hextech Annie on my first chest the first day this was implemented on LoL and me being a noob to the skin game I put it in with 2 other shards and scraped it away yes I kick myself every day now for this

I don't really know I personally play on EUW and got the skin shard on my first ever chest after getting an s so I don't know what the chances are I believe you just have to be lucky.

Assuming all skins have equal value of being found in a chest, something around 1 in 600 per skin shard. So less than that given the odds of getting a champ shard or ward shard.

It's vanishingly rare. It's technically possible, but you should not bet on it. And as time passes and more and more Loot Exclusive Skins are added, it will be more and more difficult to get specifically Annie instead of, say, Vayne or Kogmaw or Darius.
