When using or on a tank, you get a speed like tank. But aren't tanks supposed to take damage and dish out damage? As i become more aware of the this game, I find that top is better without any boots or flash. His ult already can escape in most situations and battles or catch running away squishables the list i have here are some champs i prefer to not have boots or flash on because of their abilities.

I haven't played every tanks yet. But i find that mostly the Flash goes for other champions. I usually go on with Tele and ignite or Tele with exhaust with tanks

You mean not start boots? That's perfectly fine. +25 MS isn't exactly overpowering. Or do you mean not build boots at all?

Because that's just silly. The only people who would forgo boots LATER ON would be the ones who build Zephyr or PD or something else with tons of % MS.

That's probably a good sign for your future with playing tanks.

Generally speaking I've noticed champions I'm terrible with always seem to slow, and don't move fast enough to cover being in the wrong places at the wrong times. Where champions I'm much better with tend to be in the right position at the right time without needing MS boosts or re-positioning abilities to cover my mistakes.

You shouldn't necessarily forgo flash or boots. But being able to play without those is pretty nifty if you can force situations where more damage or defense are better than speed.
