i would also like to know how this works. I am a level 26 playing against people that are like lvl 300 and 190 and 180... can someone explain how this works, cause truly how is someone supposed to get better when you are playing people that have clearly been playing for far longer. its actually to the point to where I want to uninstall the game. its just not fun for anyone at that point....
Something is off, he is constantly being put into low elo games today.
I suspect he is cheating not that Matchmaking is broken.
You should do a support ticket. This guy might need to get banned.
All day he's gotten G3-G2 games https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=malmoon
Got the same problem, made a new account and im currently level 29, past 10ish games i've been getting couple of Diamons/Grand masters for some weird reason. And every single game has at least one/two plats.
Guessing Normal game. Who cares about normal games

Something looks Fucky.
God I hope Riot did not do something stupid like hard reset or move random accounts to test a MM change.
The enemy team has a smurfing premade, that's why. It's trying to actually figure out what rank they really belong in.
Op.gg is just inaccurate. For example, if you look at u.gg, you see this: https://u.gg/lol/profile/na1/onefingersmash/match/10_4/3302419992/
The only anomaly here is actually the Diamond player, who is only in this game because he's duo queue with you. Everyone else is relatively close together.
Plus, if you look at the actual outcome of the game, it looks pretty close. The game went to 35 minutes, but the gold difference between the two teams didn't climb past 2000, or one completed item across all 5 members, until around the 28 minute mark. Most likely a major teamfight swung the game in your favor around then, but the other team was competitive until that point. In fact, they were ahead for the first 10 minutes or so, lost some ground between 10 and 14 minutes, and then started to come back again. Must have been a major teamfight that they lost at around 20 minutes, and they struggled to keep your lead in check for 8 minutes before losing another fight.
Looks like regardless of what rankings are displayed it was a fair match.
