"elo hell isn't real"

just had a game where our vayne was 0-7-0 and sona was 0-4-0 after 20 minutes.

sounds normal, right? happens every game

but the thing is that the enemy ADC was dc'd at level 2

so their pyke support got every single one of those kills by himself.

now these 2 players on bot side were silver 1 and bronze 1. the pyke was silver 3.

we won that game, and as such both players had their MMR increased.

i've had 6 leavers by 5 minutes into the game either through dc or ragequit without getting a single leaver from the opposing team until now.

imagine matching with these players, while having a disproportionate amount of leavers on your team.

if elo hell doesn't exist then i don't know what does
