I think I put this in the wrong section. Sorry.
towerfarm, dodge rockets, let him push all game long and you and you're jungler will wrek him whenever you get your sheen completed. its not hard, you just dont stand on your minions last hitting taking his auto attacks.
attemping to trade is a bad idea thanks to his passive, it wont seem like much but he will be full again sooner than later, its always better to 100-0 him.
You uninstall.
get six and just nuke him, nothing heimer can do before he finishes a zonias vs irelia.
I main heimer, and I will tell you what you want to do as a mele character vs him.
First of all, you're going to need need to build MR ASAP, I'm assuming you know this. But what you might not know, is that heimer's magic penetration does not apply to his turret damage, only to his other spells (unless they fixed this and never put it in the patch notes).
Second, you need to wait for opportunities to go in and take out his turrets or poke him. It's a very careful waiting game and you have to know some weaknesses about his abilities in order to do either of these things.
First, know that he can place a new turret every 15 seconds or so, and until his Q is level 3, he can only store one extra on him at a time. You can tell how many he has in storage by the number of nuts (like the kind that fits onto a bolt) that are spinning around him.
The first back is critical in this respect as well. If you can beat him back into lane and take out his turrets while also pushing the wave to his tower, he will have a fairly difficult time pushing back out if you keep him under tower.
Because of this limitation, many heimers will rush straight to lane and set up a turret nest in the center of the lane where the first minion waves will crash. If you can prevent him from doing this by taking them out one-by-one you will force him to start further back in lane, reducing his immediate lane power.
He can only have three turrets out at a time, and if he places a fourth, it will get rid of one that is not active first, and I believe it picks the one that is furthest from him, or the oldest one he placed.
In the early game, if you can get rid of a turret immediately after he places it, you will set him back for the next 15-20 seconds.
If a jungler is about to come in, make a serious effort to clear at least 2 of the turrets before, durring, or after the gank, and pay attention to his storage indicator to see how many he has (preferably before, because he's going to try to kite you both and let the turrets kill you). Also it isn't a bad idea to have your jungler come in JUST to clear the turrets. Also know that junglers can smite the turrets (a good idea to do as soon as a gank starts). Nunu can consume them, and cho'gath can eat them I believe. And if heimer is 6, then you need to make sure heimer's ult is down, or your jungler can smite/consume the ulti turret to help get rid of it.
His grenade stuns if it lands directly on you, or slows if it is off just a little. It has a fairly long cooldown, so if you're waiting for an opportunity to go in, go in after he uses this for poke, or bait it out of him if he doesn't use it for poke.
The rockets also have a fairly long cooldown, and don't hide behind any low HP minions or heimer can just shoot the rockets at it, kill the minion, and still poke you all in the same move.
Also, a pokey heimer is a mana hungry heimer. The cost to lay a turret is almost nothing, but the cost to use his grenade or rockets is significant. He will probably start with a
, so he is going to try to kill every creep he can to get more mana. Killing the turrets quickly will keep him from killing creeps, and will make him OOM.
Heimer's passive heals him pretty quickly after he takes poke, so if your poke isn't doing anything to heimer, focus your poke on his turrets to bully him out, then burst him if he is ever in lane without any turrets up.
Also, if you have any AOE abilities, try to use them so they hit two turrets at once.
Turrets have a target they are focusing on, and heimer can't directly control what their target is very reliably (despite riot's best efforts). There are four things that can cause a turret to switch from targeting a minion to targeting you.
After lane, a good heimer will wait until a teamfight breaks out before laying a turret, and won't just use them to farm. Make sure someone in your team can pick them off fairly easily/quickly (especially jungler with smite). If you see him constantly spamming turrets to pick up farm or jungle creeps, you will know you won't have as many to worry about in the team fights.
