how can i go 27/2, carry the **** out of my team, and still not get a full S? I understand CS is an important part of the game but c'mon if you're an assassin you're supposed to get kills and carry.
Like if I annihilate the enemy team by myself shouldn't I get at least a normal S?

Right so, the grading is relative. Meaning you didn't annihilate the enemy as well as other people playing whatever champ you used.
iisabrina1 voteswhat was the time for the game? I find gold income is the most important. so if you go 30/0 and have 200 cs but your game takes 2 hours you may not even get an S-
Cubíx1 voteslooked up the match, remember CS counts toward you rating, considering you had 200 at 40 mins when you could have had closer to 350-400 that probably lowered you're score

often times if you go something like 27/2 its because you just played like shit better than the other people playing like shit.
thekingofnido1 votesThe Issue is that if your cs is too low it means you didn't spend enough time pushing waves and setting up lanes in order for you to be able to take towers. and that's the point of this game, to take towers... kills don't mean anything if you never take a tower. and he only way to take towers is to push the wave, aka farming minions. so someone else playing the same champ could have the same score as you but have 100 more cs in the same time because they understand that kills are cool and all but cs means more then just gold it means map control and lane pressure. that is why cs matters.
