Gold 4 top laner having trouble winning with Jax (my favorite champion). Seeking advice!

Ive been playing league off and on since season 3, took a couple years off. I main top and my 3 main champions are Shen, Singed and Jax. The only problem is, is that for some reason I can never get my win rate higher then about 49* with Jax. He's tied for my favorite champion and I play him a lot but I don't see the success that I fell many other Jax players do. I think his win rate as of right now is about 52% so it bothers me that I can't even get 50% with one of my mains of many years. If anyone has any advice of maybe the mid game and late game strategy I might be missing or anything you can think of please let me know! Thanks, Rice Hat Ninja

I’m gold 2 so not dramatically better but the key for mid is late is split unless they don’t have a lot cc/you think you can teamfight. Farming well or surviving land phase is key to having enough gold to do stuff. I haven’t learned how to play Jax well into stuff like panth but you need to play safe buy ninja tabis and phage then timat shove untill you get 3 items then kill people ez. In non hard matchups get phage sheen then start flexing. Max w then e because of the q buffs unless you need to Jump like crazy
