Why Draft and not Blind ?

So, can't we just have one discussion about it ?

I read some of these threads and the only thing I had in mind was : Are all threads complaints ? Personally, more than "it's a bad idea, don't do that, why RITO", i'd prefer to understand WHY they're trying to do that.

And the first (and only reason) they're telling us is that there is not enough people to maintain 2 queues on some servers. This decision is not just "we want to make you angry" and is understandable. (1 queue instead of 2 make it faster to join a game)

But the problem is this, why draft instead of normal ?

• You don't have to own 16 champs to play normal. That's something everyone is forgotten but draft is forcing us to have at least 16 champs, meaning that beginners can't join it. (Yeah, coop vs ai or aram until they have enough money is so fun for those who wanna play casually)
• No permaban of new champs. Even if people usually go in normal to play new champs, they're still often ban in draft mode, that's not happening in blind.

So yeah, there are some cons too, I agree.

• Draft is perfect to play ranked-like without pressure.
• People in these regions will have less competitive environment because blind is a jungle of strange picks and trolls (not the majority I hope)

So, instead of flaming RIOT for their horrible, bad, shameful change, why not try to show or propose things that can be upgraded ?

• If you want Draft, more than blind, why ? Don't forget that we're way more then their team, so we can help them to understand that they're going in the wrong direction.

I personally prefer draft rather than blind, specially because of the old "call order" that I don't miss. So what about keeping blind, but with the new champ select ? Il will surely prevent some dodges that were use to have in blind in we can select our roles in advance.

Or maybe some improvement that I don't think about. Anyway, just remember that just complaint can work sometimes (#willsoloQcomeback1weekafternewseason ?) But argumentation can work better.
